This Privacy Policy explains how C2 Bot ("the Bot") collects, uses, and stores information when you interact with it on Discord. By using the Bot you agree to this policy.

2. What We Collect

The Bot collects only what is necessary to provide its features:

Discord user IDs and usernames — to identify users across features
Roblox usernames and user IDs — collected during the verification process
Server (guild) IDs — to associate data with the correct server
Moderation logs — bans, mutes, kicks, warnings, and related actions
Ticket transcripts — messages from support tickets
Ban appeal submissions — including appeal reasons and any evidence provided
Journal entries — content written by users in their personal journals
Invite tracking data — who invited who and join/leave history

3. How We Use Your Data

Data collected is used solely to operate Bot features within Discord servers. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond providing the Bot's functionality.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored in a private database on a secured server. Access is limited to the Bot owner and authorised server administrators. Data is not stored in any third-party analytics or advertising platform.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. Data may only be disclosed if required by law.

6. Third-Party Services

The Bot interacts with the following third-party platforms as part of its operation:

Discord — via the Discord API and OAuth2 for user authentication
Roblox — via the Roblox OAuth2 API for account verification
Litterbox (catbox.moe) — used for temporary file hosting when users submit evidence in ban appeals (files are automatically deleted after 72 hours)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for their data practices.

7. Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as it is needed to operate the Bot's features or as required by server administrators. Moderation logs and transcripts may be kept indefinitely for server record-keeping purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact the Bot owner (Far) through the relevant Discord server. Requests will be handled within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect stored data. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

10. Children's Privacy

The Bot is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
